Each activity contains either moveable pieces or text boxes for students to type their answers directly on the Google Slides™. Clear, easy-to-follow directions allow for students to navigate the centers independently.

This resource is 100% paperless and requires no prep aside from assigning the activities to your students (directions are included). Answer keys are also included.

These centers are directly aligned to the 5th grade Common Core State Standards 5.NBT.1, 5.NBT.2, 5.NBT.3, & 5.NBT.4.

Below is a list of the 14 activities included in this resource:

  • Name the Place: Drag place bars to the proper columns
  • Modeling Numbers: Drag place value chips to model the given numbers
  • Value Sorts: Drag each number to the proper box based on the value of the underlined digit
  • Place Value Relationships: Determine whether a given digit is 10x as much or 1/10 the value of another digit
  • Powers of 10 Match-up: Match the multiplication expression, exponent and standard form for each power of 10
  • Find the Missing Exponents: Drag the correct exponent to the multiplication or division equation
  • Multiplying and Dividing by Powers of 10: Type the answers to the given equations
  • Decimals in Word Form: Drag the number tiles to the proper boxes based on the given word form
  • Decimals in Expanded Form: Type the standard form of each number given in expanded form
  • Comparing Decimals: Drag the >, <, or = sign to compare each set of numbers
  • True/False Comparing: Drag each comparison tile to either the “True” or “False” box
  • Ordering Decimals: Drag each set of numbers in order from least to greatest
  • Rounding Decimals: Round each number to the designated place
  • True/False Rounding: Drag each tile to either the “True” or “False” box based on whether it was rounded correctly
